The essay portion when you trained outside the US

If you trained outside the United States, the essays ask three things at once: recalling US law, writing it in the English the exam expects, and typing fast enough to finish. Studying them separately takes time you do not have.

Typing rule statements puts all three in one session. Each rule you type is practice writing correct legal English, the kind graders are used to reading. Your speed and accuracy are measured on each passage. And the repetition is spaced: each rule comes back for review on a schedule set by your own ratings, and the rules you rate low come back sooner.
